Number of protests are being held in Melbourne, Sydney  Brisbane and Brisbane in Australia as well as New Zealand against Sri Lankan government failure to address the economic crisis and imposing a curfew. On Sunday, hundreds took to the streets to speak out against what they are calling an injustice. People gathered with signs reading “#gotagohome”, demanding the Sri Lankan President quit and for international recognition and governments to step in and help the worsening situation.

The protesters questioned how a President can impose curfew on a planned basic human rights protest?. They also urged to unite for one country and one law.
