Thousands gathered at Martin Place in Sydney for protest

Sri Lankan expatriates from Sydney, Australia  have amassed in large numbers at the Sydney’s  Iconic “Martin Place” to protest against the incumbent government and the president.

People from all walks of life attended the protest and held Sri Lanka flags and placards supporting the fellow Sri Lankans in their motherland calling on President Gotabaya Rajapaksa to step down, his administration to be removed and for a change in the political system in Sri Lanka.

The protests was organised by the Sri Lankan living in Sydney and participated by all political, Ethnic and religious groups.
