Veteran journalist and TV presenter Bandula Padmakumara passed away at the age of 71 years, it is learnt.
Padmakumara was an iconic figure of Sri Lankan media and journalism, most notable for the popular television programs Mul Pituwa and Loka Sithiyama.
He is also a former Editor in Chief of Lakbima newspaper and former Chairman of Lake House.
