Mutual Assistance Society Sydney (MASS) is appealing for funds to help relief to disadvantaged communities through education and public health initiatives in Australia and Sri Lanka.

Mutual Assistance Society Sydney (MASS) is a charity incorporated in NSW, Australia. Primary objective of MASS is to provide relief to disadvantaged communities through education and public health initiatives. Since its inception in 2005, MASS has contributed immensely towards meeting its objectives both in Australia and in Sri Lanka. As the funds are raised mainly in Australia, as a mutual obligation towards the Australian community, MASS has been supporting the Royal Institute of Deaf and Blind Children (RIDBC), North Rocks Sydney and St Lucy’s School for differently-abled Children in Wahroonga NSW,. Every year, MASS donated in the range of A$4,000 to A$6,000 to these two organisations. In Sri Lanka too, MASS spent nearly A$45,000 towards very worthy projects during the financial year 2019/20 alone.

MASS intends to continue its projects both in Australia and in Sri Lanka in 2021 and beyond.

MASS is a registered charity institute of the Australian government Australian Charites and Not-for profit Commission (ACNC). All donations $2.00 and over to MASS are tax deductible. All MASS members provide their services voluntarily and therefore administrative costs are minimal.
